NEW YORK, NY: Healthcare organizations need fast, reliable access to all their sources of clinical, financial, and operational data. In order to fulfill this need, UNC Health Care, a non-profit health care system, has partnered with Infor, a cloud-based company, to make use of the ‘Infor Cloverleaf Integration Suite’ to securely access the data across a network of eight hospitals. Infor Cloverleaf provides clinical integration and information exchange solution that offers strength to proactively manage, coordinate and share data across multiple locations through cloud or on-premise.
Owned by the State of North Carolina , the UNC Healthcare System comprises of N.C. Memorial Hospital, N.C. Neurosciences Hospital, N.C Women’s Hospital, N.C. Children’s Hospital, N.C. Cancer Hospital and acute-care hospital in Hillsborough Campus.

UNC Health Care has been looking for a trustworthy partner that has a successful history with data integration at large healthcare organizations having strong business goals. Since two of the hospitals among UNC Health Care system had already worked with Cloverleaf, decision-makers were confident that Infor was the right partner to consolidate data at system level with a unified integration engine.
Infor Cloverleaf consists of key modules such as, Global Monitor, Web Services Adaptor, Data Integrator and Message Warehouse. With the Global monitoring feature, the Cloverleaf environment can be managed through desktop or Infor mobile apps while Web Services Adaptor, makes use of the web-services engine to integrate healthcare systems, partners and applications. The Data Integrator merges Cloverleaf with database of single or multi-vendor database management system. Similarly, Message warehouse can be used to send and collect messages from Open DataBase Connectivity (ODBC) compliant database management systems.
Other modules include IHE Infrastructure Adaptor, Direct Adapter, Secure Courier, Secure Messenger and Security Server.
